1. What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a system of medicine that views each person as a unique individual rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or isolated symptoms. During a homeopathic consultation, your physical health, emotional wellbeing, medical history, lifestyle, and personal characteristics are carefully considered to build a complete understanding of your health.

Homeopathic medicines are selected individually according to each person's unique symptom picture, with the aim of supporting the body's natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing.

At GAIA GOLDEN AGE® Homeopathy & Vital Force Clinic, we believe that healing is a personal journey. Our approach is centred on listening with care, understanding the individual as a whole, and providing personalised support through professional homeopathic care.

Homeopathy is used by millions of people worldwide as part of their personal healthcare choices. If you are currently receiving treatment from your GP or another healthcare professional, you should continue following their medical advice. Homeopathic care is intended to complement—not replace—appropriate conventional medical care.

Homeopathy is a system of medicine founded by the German physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843). It is based on the principle of individualised care, recognising that every person experiences illness in a unique way. Rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or isolated symptoms, homeopathy considers the whole person—physical, emotional, mental, and personal characteristics—to select the most appropriate remedy.

Today, homeopathy continues to evolve through different schools of thought. Classical Homeopathy generally focuses on prescribing a single carefully selected remedy based on the individual's complete symptom picture. Traditional Homeopathy encompasses the principles established by Hahnemann and later practitioners, emphasising detailed case-taking and individualised treatment. Contemporary Homeopathy builds upon these foundations while incorporating modern clinical experience, ongoing research, and diverse approaches to meet the needs of today's patients.

At GAIA GOLDEN AGE® Homeopathy & Vital Force Clinic, we respect the rich heritage of homeopathy while embracing thoughtful, evidence-informed clinical practice. Our consultations are centred on listening with care, understanding each individual as a whole, and developing a personalised treatment plan that reflects their unique health journey.

2. How long is the consultation?

The length of your consultation depends on the type of appointment you book.

  • Initial Homeopathic Consultation: Approximately 60 to 90 minutes. This comprehensive consultation allows your practitioner to explore your medical history, current symptoms, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, and other important aspects of your health in order to develop an individualised treatment plan.
  • Follow-Up Consultation: Approximately 30 to 45 minutes. These appointments focus on reviewing your progress, assessing your response to treatment, and making any necessary adjustments to your homeopathic prescription.
  • Acute Homeopathic Consultation: Approximately 20 to 30 minutes. These shorter consultations are designed for recent or short-term conditions that require prompt assessment and support.

We encourage patients to allow sufficient time for their appointment and to choose a quiet, private environment for online consultations. This helps ensure an open and relaxed conversation, allowing your practitioner to gain the most complete understanding of your health and wellbeing.

3. How long is the consultation?

The duration of your consultation depends on the type of appointment you book:

  • Initial Homeopathic Consultation: 60–90 minutes
  • Follow-Up Consultation: 30–45 minutes
  • Acute Homeopathic Consultation: 20–30 minutes

Each consultation is designed to give your practitioner sufficient time to understand your individual needs, assess your progress, and provide personalised homeopathic care.

For online consultations, we recommend choosing a quiet, private environment where you can speak comfortably without interruptions. This helps ensure the best possible consultation experience.

4. Are consultations online?

Yes. All consultations at GAIA GOLDEN AGE® Homeopathy & Vital Force Clinic are conducted online, allowing patients to receive personalised homeopathic care from the comfort of their own home, wherever they are in the world.

Consultations are held through a secure video platform at a pre-arranged appointment time. Before your consultation, you will receive all the necessary information, including your appointment details and any forms that need to be completed in advance.

Following your consultation, your individualised homeopathic treatment plan will be prepared. If homeopathic remedies are required, they can be supplied and delivered within the United Kingdom, or guidance can be provided for obtaining them locally where appropriate.

Our online consultations offer the same professional, individualised approach as an in-person appointment, while providing greater convenience, accessibility, and flexibility for patients.

5. How are remedies delivered?

Following your consultation, your homeopathic practitioner will carefully review your case and prepare your individualised prescription.

If homeopathic remedies are required, they will be professionally prepared and dispatched directly to your chosen address within the United Kingdom. Every prescription is tailored to your individual needs, and only the remedies recommended by your practitioner will be supplied.

6. Can children receive homeopathic treatment?

Yes. Homeopathy may be suitable for people of all ages, including infants, children, and adolescents. At GAIA GOLDEN AGE® Homeopathy & Vital Force Clinic, every child is treated as a unique individual, with careful consideration given to their physical health, emotional wellbeing, personality, development, medical history, and specific needs.

A parent or legal guardian must be present during the consultation and provide informed consent before treatment can begin. We encourage parents to share as much relevant information as possible to help the practitioner gain a complete understanding of their child's health.

If homeopathic treatment is recommended, remedies and dosage instructions will be individually tailored to the child's needs.

Homeopathy can be used alongside conventional medical care. Parents should continue to follow the advice of their GP, paediatrician, or other healthcare professionals. Homeopathic care is intended to complement—not replace—appropriate medical treatment, particularly in emergencies or serious medical conditions.

7. Do you prescribe conventional medicines?

No. The practitioners at GAIA GOLDEN AGE® Homeopathy & Vital Force Clinic practise homeopathy and do not prescribe conventional (prescription-only) medicines.

If, during your consultation, we believe that your condition requires conventional medical assessment, urgent care, or specialist treatment, we will advise you to contact your GP, NHS services, or the appropriate healthcare provider without delay.

If you are currently taking prescription medication, do not stop or change your treatment without first consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed it. Homeopathic care is intended to complement your overall healthcare and should never replace appropriate medical advice or emergency treatment when needed.

Our priority is to provide safe, ethical, and patient-centred care while working respectfully alongside conventional healthcare whenever appropriate.

Patients will receive clear instructions on how to take their remedies, along with any additional guidance needed to support their treatment.

For patients living outside the United Kingdom, we can provide a written prescription and guidance on obtaining the recommended remedies from a reputable homeopathic pharmacy in their own country, where available.

Our aim is to make the treatment process as simple, convenient, and personalised as possible, ensuring that you receive both your remedies and the support you need throughout your healing journey.

8. How do follow-up consultations work?

Follow-up consultations are an essential part of the homeopathic healing process. They allow your practitioner to assess your progress, review any changes in your symptoms and overall wellbeing, and determine how you have responded to your prescribed remedies.

During your follow-up appointment, you will discuss any improvements, new symptoms, changes in energy, sleep, mood, emotional wellbeing, and other aspects of your health. Based on this assessment, your practitioner may recommend continuing the same treatment, adjusting your prescription, or making other changes to support your ongoing progress.

Follow-up consultations typically last 30 to 45 minutes and are conducted online, offering a convenient and personalised continuation of your care.

The frequency of follow-up appointments varies from person to person and depends on your individual condition, treatment goals, and progress. Your practitioner will recommend an appropriate schedule based on your specific needs.

Our aim is to support your healing journey through careful observation, ongoing communication, and individualised care at every stage of treatment.

9. How long does treatment take?

The length of homeopathic treatment varies from person to person. Every individual is unique, and the time required depends on factors such as the nature of the condition, how long it has been present, your overall health, your body's response to treatment, and your personal healing goals.

Some acute conditions may improve within days or weeks, while chronic or long-standing conditions often require a longer course of treatment with regular follow-up consultations to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments.

Homeopathy is an individualised form of care, and there is no fixed timeline that applies to everyone. Your practitioner will regularly review your progress and discuss your treatment plan with you throughout your healing journey.

Our goal is not simply to relieve symptoms, but to support your long-term health and wellbeing through personalised, compassionate, and professional homeopathic care.

10. Can I use homeopathy alongside conventional medicine?

Yes. In many cases, homeopathy can be used alongside conventional medical care. Many patients choose homeopathy as a complementary approach while continuing treatment prescribed by their GP, consultant, or other healthcare professionals.

At GAIA GOLDEN AGE® Homeopathy & Vital Force Clinic, we encourage patients to inform their homeopathic practitioner about all medications, supplements, and treatments they are currently receiving. This helps us provide safe, well-informed, and individualised care.

You should never stop, reduce, or change any prescribed medication without first consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed it. Homeopathic practitioners do not advise patients to discontinue conventional medical treatment without appropriate medical supervision.

Our approach is one of collaboration and respect for patient safety. Homeopathic care is intended to complement—not replace—appropriate conventional healthcare, particularly in cases requiring urgent medical attention or ongoing specialist management.

Our priority is to support your health through personalised, ethical, and patient-centred care while working responsibly alongside conventional medicine whenever appropriate.
